35. International Festival Berlin

The 35th edition of the International Festival Tanz im August, presented by HAU Hebbel am Ufer, showed 9 productions at 11 venues - including 5 premieres, 6 German premieres, 8 Berlin and international co-productions and a commissioned project with 22 Berlin artists within a total of 47 performances.
The focus of the festival, under the new artistic direction of Ricardo Carmona, was the artistic visualisation of the mutual relationships between human beings, nature, and culture(s) – and thus also between different dance languages.
