Facebook Social Plugins
Our website uses social plugins from the social network facebook.com (Facebook). Facebook is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. You can find a detailed list of what the plugins look like and their functions here: developers.facebook.com/plugins .

If you call up one of our website pages which has a plugin of this kind, your browser sets up a direct link to the Facebook servers. Through integration of the plugin, Facebook obtains the information that you have called up the relevant page on our internet site.

If you are logged on to Facebook, Facebook can allocate the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugin, by using the "Like Button", for example, or by posting a comment, the information will be given directly to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a Facebook member, Facebook may still store your IP address.

For information on the purpose and extent of data capture and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, please refer to the Facebook data protection information: www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You will also find information on Facebook settings within your personal profile designed to protect your privacy, and on your rights in this regard.

If you do not want Facebook to collect this data via our website then please log off from Facebook before going to our website. To prevent general Facebook access to your data, on our website and on other websites, you can use a browser add-on (e.g. Facebook Blocker webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/).

Matomo (formerly: PIWIK)

We deploy Matomo (formerly “PIWK”) on our web presence. This is open source software, with which we can analyse the use of our web presence. That means that your IP address, the website(s) comprising our web presence, which you visit, the website from which you changed over to our web presence (referring URL), the time you spent on our web presence and the frequency with which you access one of our websites is processed.

In order to gather said data, Matomo saves a cookie on your terminal, via your web browser. This cookie is valid for one week.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in analysing and optimising our web presence.

We do, however, use Matomo with the anonymisation function, viz. “Automatically Anonymize Visitor IPs”. This anonymisation function truncates your IP address by two bytes, making it impossible to associate your IP address with you, or with the Internet connection used by you.

Should you not be in agreement with said processing, you have the opportunity to prevent the cookie from being saved by choosing a certain setting in your web browser. You can find further information on this above, under “Cookies”.

You, moreover, have the option of terminating the analysis of your usage pattern by way of the opt-out. By selecting this option, a cookie that prevents any further analysis is saved on your terminal via your web browser. Please note, however, that, if you delete the cookies saved on your terminal, you need to access the above link again.
