Yara Boustany

Yara Boustany is a Lebanese multidisciplinary artist, choreographer, performer, and artistic researcher born in Ghbeleh, Lebanon. Her work spans choreography, visual art, and performance, exploring sensorial stimuli that guide humans toward unexplored dimensions of existence – she looks for enchantment and disturbance.  Boustany’s creative process draws on imagination and improvisation, unlocking the infinite potential of the body and voice, free from conventional constraints. She is the founder of Amalgam Studio Beirut, one of the few remaining performing arts spaces in Beirut, dedicated to alternative artistic expression.
