Walter Bart

Walter Bart finished his studies at the Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2001 and has been part of the actors collective Wunderbaum since that moment. With Wunderbaum he created and acted in several performances, mostly site specific ("Welcome in my backyard", "Venlo", "Natives"), but also in the theatre ("Kamp Jezus", "Onze Paus", "The New Forest - The Beginning"). Besides, Walter Bart worked together with other directors / companies, including Johan Simons ("Ten Commandments") and  Veenfabriek. Next to his theatre work, he has played several roles in Dutch television series / films. Currently Wunderbaum is working on a large-scale and long-term project (2012 – 2016): "The New Forest: a new, alternative society". The performances Wunderbaum creates in this period will be framed in this project.
