Sebastian Jünemann

Sebastian Jünemann is a biologist, paramedic as well as initiator and project coordinator of the Berlin based NGO CADUS. The independent aid organization CADUS supports innovative and sustainable Projects focusing on need-based capacity building to help people help themselves. Effective teamwork, interdisciplinary and critical reflection on established NGO-practices, as well as the early involvement of the local communities are central values for CADUS. They develop projects based on the various professional experiences and competences of their team members. CADUS currently provides humanitarian aid in the autonomously governed parts of Rojava, northern Syria, supporting the development of a local medical infrastructure. In addition, the organization takes part in sea rescue missions at the central Mediterranean Sea. At the moment the NGO is building a mobile hospital, a fully functioning operation room on a 4-wheel drive truck.
