Schwalbe. In German it is a swallow. Or a female spy, like Mata Hari. In football terminology it is a deliberate dive to get a penalty kick. But now it is also the name of a young Dutch theater collective. Schwalbe strips 'physical theater' down to its zero level, using the body as a departing point. The eight members confront physicality head on and go for the ultimate consequences of their assignment. This pursuit is the actual performance, and every night it is radically different.
