Mariama Diagne

Mariama Diagne, M.A., is a dance scholar. She received her dance education at the Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York, and she did (musical) theatre, media and dance studies in Bayreuth and Berlin. Since 2012 she has been working at the Institute for Theatre Studies at the Free University in Berlin and is writing her doctoral thesis on the processes and aesthetics of German dance theatre in the early choreographic work of Pina Bausch.
