Kareth Schaffer

Kareth Schaffer studied dance, choreography, anthropology and dramaturgy in Germany and the Netherlands. In her work she has intertwined speech and movement to examine very different themes, such as prophecies, birdwatching, mudwrestling, boredom, synchronized swimming, Angela Merkel, emojis, jumprope, or ancient monastic practices. She often engages in artistic co-authorship (with Ninus, Martin Hansen, Tatiana Mejía…) and remains hopeful that dance and theater can bring people together.
