Judith Hopf

Judith Hopf, born 1969 in Karlsruhe, lives and works in Berlin. Judith Hopf’s video Hey Produktion from 2001 is reflecting social changes and ways of living in Berlin at the time, by applying a kind of dance choreography to her video that used to be typical for music videos of the time. The actors in her video are Berlin artists and cultural producers with whom she carried out projects in various constellations. She is reflecting in a collective way upon the working society, art scene and the city, while at the same time dreaming up utopian changes of her daily living environment.
