Toast'n'Talk

The format Toast ’n’ Talk is specifically aimed at professionals and journalists. On three festival Fridays we offer a platform for interchange in a casual atmosphere, away from the time pressure of the evening events. Accompanied by wake-up coffee and fresh toast, short moderated conversations with festival artists in the Bibliothek im August (HAU2) are an invitation to meet and network.

Please register via email under professionals@tanzimaugust.de at least one day before the event.

Festival Centre

The Festival Centre at HAU Hebbel am Ufer (HAU2) is the meeting place for artists, audience and festival-makers to dance, converse and hang out. It contains the library – Bibliothek im August – the box office for tickets, the infocounter and the WAU café and restaurant for food and drink. When the weather is fine the deckchairs are unfolded, and there are parties on the weekends. This year a temporary pavilion is being designed for the centre by the Berlin architectural office c/o now, who not only realise projects in Germany, Austria and Norway but are also active in the field of urban research and architecture.
You can find the current WAU menu at: www.wau-berlin.de

The box office is located in the Festival Centre in HAU2.

From 1.8: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. daily
