Meg Stuart / Damaged Goods

Sketches / Notebook (extended version)

Part of “Supernova”

Duration 4 h

As part of her residency at HAU in January 2013, the choreographer Meg Stuart asked a group of performers, musicians, and visual artists to contribute their talents and abilities to a process of collective investigation, and to work out a series of artistic proposals. This is meant to generate an open field, reducing acts and actions to their most essential elements. The audience is invited to attend these operations of connecting, charting, and participating generated by the temporary collective. During the extended version, the artists go in search of the limits of generosity, openness and play, resulting in a unique four-hour event.
