Thank you for Coming: Space

German Premiere

24.–27.8., 18:00 | SOPHIENSÆLE

● 25.8. Meet the Artist

Duration 80 min

In “Thank You For Coming: Space”, American performance artist Faye Driscoll, alone on stage, constructs a dynamic group experience. Immersed in an intricate installation, wired for sound and upheld by pulleys, ropes and the weight of others, she sifts through a whirlwind of emotions and delves into the deeply human forces of love and loss. A radical vulnerability emerges as she explores the inter-connectivity of bodies and ever-morphing states of togetherness. Conjuring the transformative powers of presence and of absence, “Space” paves the way for a shared rite of passage.
