Faye Driscoll

Based in New York, American performance maker Faye Driscoll creates immersive worlds of sensorial complexity and perceptual disorientation that narrow the gap between audience and performers. Her works have been presented across the United States and internationally at La Biennale di Venezia, Festival d’Automne à Paris, the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, Melbourne Festival, Belfast International Arts Festival, the Onassis Cultural Centre in Athens and the Centro de Arte Experimental in Buenos Aires. Driscoll has been awarded the Bessie award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Creative Capital award, the Doris Duke Artist Award, a US Artists Doris Duke Fellowship and the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award. She is currently the Randjelovic/Stryker Resident Commissioned Artist at New York Live Arts. “Space” is the third installment in her “Thank You For Coming” (2012–2020) series of choreographed group experiences.
