Meg Stuart / Damaged Goods & EIRA

BLESSED

Duration 80 mins.

A palm tree, a hut, a swan, all made from cardboard, dissolve in the rain, robbing the performer Francisco Camacho of shelter, leaving him in the dirt. Composed in 2007, Meg Stuart has created a parable of the human existence. After the work was first shown in HAU2 at Tanz im August seven years ago, it has lost none of its topicality. Hope still lives in the downfall.
