Part of “Performing Arts Festival Berlin 2018”

Alone, lost, abandoned – with “Manon Lescaut”, Giacomo Puccini portrays the solitary odyssey of a seemingly self-confident woman on the search for true love. In this story, Lulu Obermayer finds a number of contemporary references and orchestrates them for us as a female solo performance – as a multimedia declaration of war by an individual voice against death, in the ending expanse and silence of the desert.
