Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch / Alan Lucien Øyen

Neues Stück II

Duration 210 min incl. break

Alan Lucien Øyen explores the boundary between dance, theatre, text and film. Through staging the most intimate of moments, the Norwegian choreographer wishes to reflect the simplicity, beauty and complexity of human experience. This of course perfectly matches Pina Bausch’s Tanztheater Wuppertal, which always looks for the deeply human. Together with the Tanztheater ensemble, Alan Lucien Øyen has developed a new choreography, called “Neues Stück II” – an innovation for the Tanztheater, which is working for the first time on two full-length pieces with international transdisciplinary guest choreographers.
